Keeping Your Music on Hard Drive Show on Schedule.

Because of the difficulty of scheduling exactly an hour of music & spots, we recommend overfilling each hour, then skipping the last few items in each hour, using a jump to break. The timed events for this are illustrated in the picture.

An example of Jump to Breaks

Some stations find it really important to keep on track, while others can be off be minutes and not care. To keep closely on schedule add the Fade commands, at the top of each hour, along with a Fire a Break command afterwards. To do this, you will be fading out of a song every hour, so I suggest making the last song in the hour instrumental.

An example of Jump to Breaks with the Top of the Hour Fade

The examples of Jump to Breaks that you will need to keep your station updating at the top of each hour will not fit on one screen, so we split them into the two screens you see above for your conveneince.
