The EMST Costume Shoppe
was established when the Theater was created in 1977. It
has been located in the basement of the Kermore Building, on the
corner of Broadway and 11th Street in Emmetsburg for a
number of years.
An extensive collection of
costumes has been gathered and created for theater productions.
The Costume Shoppe accepts donations for antique and specialty
clothing and period costumes. The Shoppe regularly rents to
schools, churches, and other theaters, as well as the public.
Groups, organizations, and individuals are welcome to stop and
shop. The Halloween season is one of our busiest.
Management of the Costume Shoppe
is perhaps one of the most demanding aspects of the Theater, as
keeping the thousands of costumes organized is an ongoing, year-round
operation. At present, Board members handle this job.
Currently the hours vary with
the season. Call 712-852-3755 if you need to rent costumes.
